Employer Heath Plans is a small, independent benchmarking practice. We spend our days inside the pricing files that hospitals and insurers are now required to publish, turning them into something an HR or finance leader can actually use. We are not a broker, a carrier, or a third-party administrator, and we don't sell insurance — which is exactly why employers ask us for a second opinion.
What we do
We start from public data. Hospitals and insurers publish their negotiated rates under federal price-transparency rules; that's our raw material.
We map it to your markets. A list of the zip codes where your people live is enough to build a picture of the prices your plan is exposed to.
We keep it readable. The output is a short benchmark readout, not a data dump — written for the renewal conversation.
The problem we work on
Health benefit costs have climbed by double digits for years, and for most companies the plan is now one of the largest expenses they approve with the least independent information. The pricing data to change that finally exists. Using it just takes a team whose whole job is reading it.
